Each node sets the diameter at a height. The profile curves smoothly through them. Drag a plate in the 3D view, or double-click the shade to add a node.
Ribs ›
Fluting around the shade: how many ribs, how deep, and how they twist.
Wall ›
Shell thickness — affects strength, weight and print time.
Socket holder ›
An optional flat plate with spokes that holds an E27 socket in the opening.
The plate sits flush with the rim and is buried into the shell wall by its own thickness, so it fuses solidly with the shade — no floating spokes. Ribs peak at 90°/rib count, so use Spoke rotation to line spokes up with a peak or valley.
